Honours & Awards
The Pacific Northwest Dahlia Conference(PNDC) annually awards its Gold Medal for Lifetime Achievement to recognize a member’s exceptional contributions to the Northwest Dahlia community.
Cathy Featherby is the our club’s more recent recipient of the PNDC Gold Medal. I can not begin to tell you all the amazing activities and achievements that Cathy can call her own. Always focused on educating members and the general public about Dahlia’s cultivation, she has created educational materials, provided presentations, and is always on hand to answer anyone’s questions. She has been President of our club, Tuber Sale Chair for many years, and has been involved in the Executive in many roles for many years. Cathy is a dedicated hybridizer with Cat’s Hot Lips and Cat’s Mellow Yellow and a Dahlia Show Head Table Winner. I am sure I am missing many more contributions.
