Learning Garden Takes a Break for 2013
For the 2013 season the Victoria Dahlia Society will be taking a break from the Learning Garden. But not to worry, there will be plenty of learning opportunities from coming to meetings, attending group events and, of course, from growing your own dahlias!
Dahlias Make a Dramatic Impact in Borders and Pots
Dahlias work extremely well as border plants and in pots and as an added benefit the bees and butterflies love them. Pictured below are some dahlia varieties that work particularly well in the garden border, including Rembrandt which grows to about 12″ tall and Bonne Esperance which grows to 18 to 24″.
